General Background Information:

Greg serves as lead counsel for the firm’s representation of the City of Salina, the Salina Airport Authority, and the surrounding communities of Assaria, Brookville, and Gypsum. In that role, Greg has acquired the real estate interests necessary for a wide array of public infrastructure improvement projects.  He has also worked with public administrators in conceptualizing and preparing the agreements under the Kansas Interlocal Agreement Act that enabled:

(a)     Use of local sales tax for the construction of buildings on the KSU-Salina campus;

(b)     Use of local sales tax for enhancement of technology in the local school district; and

(c)     The current public partnership among the City of Salina, the Salina Airport Authority, USD 305, and Kansas State University for funding and oversight of preparation of the remedial investigation and feasibility study for the remediation of soil and groundwater contamination at the site of the former Schilling Air Force Base.

Greg serves on the board of the City Attorneys Association of Kansas (CAAK), was president in 2005-06, and has presented at a number of CAAK continuing legal education seminars. He also served on the Kansas Judicial Council Subcommittee on Eminent Domain and the Kansas University Law Society Board of Governors.
