Areas of Concentration:

Jessica focuses her practice in the areas of elder law, estate planning (wills & trusts), special needs planning, long-term care planning, and estate (post death) administrations.

General Background Information:

Jessica’s experience at preparing comprehensive estate plans; including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, allows her to help each client develop an estate plan that is personalized to their individual needs. She also helps her clients and their family through post death estate and trust administration issues.  In addition, she advises her clients on the issues encountered in long-term care planning, particularly access to Medicaid benefits. Jessica has experience assisting clients through the complex Division of Assets and Medicaid application process. She also counsels the families of aging and disabled clients on complicated legal issues such as: asset protection, access public benefits, special needs trusts, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.  

Jessica strives to assist her clients in an innovative and education-focused manner. She is also a frequent presenter at public seminars and continuing legal education classes on matters related to the areas of estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning.

Jessica hails from the small town of Gorham, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing and Leadership Studies in 2009. Jessica is a 2012 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Jessica and her husband, Blake, reside in rural Salina with their two young children, Colt and Chloe.
