We commonly counsel clients on a variety of preventative issues such as:

  • Internal investigations
  • Terminations and employee discipline issues
  • Proper implementation of leave polices and other employee benefits
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Drafting and updating employee handbooks; employment contracts; non-competition and non-disclosure agreements; last-chance agreements; and severance agreements
  • ERISA plans
  • EEOC and other regulatory agency investigations

Our litigation team has experience defending employers in all aspects of the employment relationship, including claims involving alleged violations of the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, Title VII, §1981, employment contracts, public policy retaliation, workers’ compensation retaliation, and more. We work closely with our clients to determine the best outcome possible based on the unique circumstances of each case, and we endeavor to work through each case in the most cost effective manner.

Clark, Mize & Linville has also represented management exclusively in labor relations matters. We provide representation in traditional labor relations negotiations, including collective bargaining, grievance negotiation, union elections and decertification petitions.

We offer a variety of billing options to customize our services to the needs of our clients.
